Our Science Representatives
Our campaign is represented by the world's leading scientific board Americans and Europeans for Medical Advancement (AFMA/EFMA) which opposes experiments on animals, purely on human medical and scientific grounds, illustrating up-to-date scientific evidence for the UK Parliament through our science representatives For Life On Earth (FLOE) clarifying that animals, such as those bred at B&K Universal, cannot predict the responses of human patients and are scientifically invalid for this use in medical research and drug development.
It's important to appreciate that B&K step outside planning criteria to make claims about human medicine on their actual planning application, which is why our petition, highlighting up-to-date scientific knowledge as well as planning objections, attracted so much national attention securing overall 40,000 signatures in just the first few weeks.
